Reporting, memberships and key figures

Sustainability Report according to GRI Standards

Since 2008, our sustainability reporting has followed the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as a globally recognised basis for comparability and transparency. In this report, we set out our strategic approaches to our sustainability efforts and present the results of our activities using key figures and specific projects.

Human Rights Report (Non Food)

In the Tchibo Human Rights Report, we summarise the activities, initiatives and measures we have implemented to ensure compliance with minimum human rights standards in our global supply chains. Concrete progress and results are illustrated using key figures and specific projects in the sourcing countries.

UN Global Compact CoP

We have been a member of the UN Global Compact Network for 11 years and actively support the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact. We report annually on our progress, our goals and our challenges based on the 21 UN Global Compact Advanced Criteria.

Voluntary commitments and memberships

Sustainable development at a global level requires collective action by multiple stakeholders throughout the value chains and beyond. We want to make a significant contribution in this area. We have made ambitious voluntary commitments to demonstrate our desire to shoulder our responsibility. We participate in initiatives that support us on our journey and collaborate on specific projects with partners from the worlds of business, politics, science and civil society.

Key figures

We continuously measure our performance in terms of sustainability using informative key figures. These figures demonstrate progress but also indicate the improvements that need to be made, thus providing the basis which guides our sustainability activities.

Awards & rankings
